I loved the location that was very close to any attractions and in a very quiet place I loved the vibe in the place, Mo is very an amazing owner, very open to help. I also find it very nice that he managed to get me in a dormitory room by myself since it was a quiet week, so he made it happen that we have more privacy than expected.

This boutique hostel is just 5 minutes' walk from a variety of cafes, restaurants, bars and galleries in Salamanca's waterfront precinct, including Salamanca Market. It is 5 minutes' drive from Hobart CBD (Central Business District), 9 minutes' walk from the ferry to the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), and 20 minutes' drive from Hobart Airport.

The owner is very friendly and kind person. People I met in the house were also nice and well mannered so that I felt safe while I was staying for 6days. There are some shower rooms which is clean and the water pressure is strong enough! If you buy foodstuffs, you can put them in big refrigerators that would be helpful for long staying.

The property was well equipped, clean, warm and in a great location. We were in a group of 5 for a girls weekend away and there was plenty of room. It was a cheap uber to Salamanca and nice 20 min walk. Off street parking was too small for out larger hire car but we didn't have a problem finding street parking.

For those looking for a place to stay on a budget, this place is unmatched. Only a block over from the Intercity bus, and located in the Hobart CBD. Backpacker prices for a private bed and secure locker. The washing machine and drier do not require coins to operate, a welcome surprise for budget accommodation. Staff easy to deal with for accommodation changes/issues.

I tried the YHA, the Pickled frog, and this one, and it is the best hostel in Hobart in my opinion. The hostel is huge, big rooms, large common spaces. Maybe I feel like that because there was not a lot of people when I was there.

This room was amazing! While it was in a hostel it felt just like a regular hotel room but then a lot cheaper. I had just travelled a week in hostels and needed my own space and this was great. Clean room, pretty big as well and with a nice ensuite bathroom. The location was great and there was a kitchen downstairs, but I did not use it.

Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in my life. The absolute best community of bunkers who respect each other's experience, well organised pantry, super chill and well-meaning owner. I LOVED IT.

The hostel is great. The bed was very comfortable, the dormitory room size was decent and they provided all the facilities that you would need for a short stay. The lower bunk beds even had privacy curtains which you could pull across when sleeping and a small shelf and charging point near each bed. The location is very convenient and a short walk into Hobart city centre and close to the Salamanca market. Good value for money. I would certainly recommend this place to other travellers.
