The location is just outside the tourist-overrun old town, while still being walkable to most sites. The hostel provides a map for a self-guided walking tour that is very manageable and free. They also had nightly community-building showings of the Sound of Music, which is a nice thought. The staff were welcoming and friendly

I had great stay! Very friendly and helpful lady at the front for check in and out. Great location. Simple but comfortable room. If ever back in Salzburg will stay here and recommend to others. Nice breakfast. Shared bathroom kept very clean.

You can furnish your accommodation with the cheapest IKEA or you can do it "Das Mondsee". Everything is very sophisticated and guest-oriented.
We were so satisfied that I do not know where to start... The lounge was great...we just fed our baby and felt like in the restaurant. If you don't try you do not know.
