A really exceptional place to stay, the room was stylishly furnished and cozy. We loved the bathroom! And the garden! The breakfast was super tasty. We rented bikes for a few hours - well-groomed and clean. Also, the area around Vinh Long is great for cycling. Last, but not least - Yennie and her parents are very friendly and polite people, and we were more than happy having a chance to stay at their place!

Featuring a restaurant, the property also provides free bicycles and fishing equipment, as well as a shared lounge for guests to use. Breakfast good and plentiful. We stayed for two weeks and they never served the same thing twice in a row. Items off menu for other meals were delicious. There are not a lot of eating options on the island but after two weeks we scoped out everything to be had. The location was lovely and the grounds were beautifully kept. The free bicycles were a bonus.

The family was incredibly welcoming and we were even invited to their Rambutan orchard during the harvest. We really hope to return and stay longer.

A peaceful and comfortable homestay in Vinh Long
Really beautiful homestay, every meal was eaten right on the river with incredible sunsets. Very friendly staff, delicious food and basic but practical rooms. Surrounding area was quiet but very interesting and beautiful, felt off the beaten track if that’s what you like. Was nice to explore it on the mopeds. Boat tour was also very interesting, and the pool table was a nice bonus. Very good value for money!
We had a great time at Mekong Pottery Homestay and especially enjoyed the tours, Yennie organized for us to get a deeper insight into the Mekong region and its local manufacturers. The homestay itself is lovely decorated while focusing on sustainability. The family was very welcoming and we highly recommend the offered lunch/ dinner.

Very nice place, on Mekong river with beautiful sunsets everyday. Nice dinners at the homestay, everything is so fresh cooked and good! The island is quiet and beautiful (you have to take the bikes and discover by yourself).
New hotel/homestay. Everything clean, large room with comfortable beds. Large bathroom. Nice owner and family. Area is great for biking or hiking on small roads. Pass over the bridge and take the first small road to the right and you find yourself in Mekong paradise. The hotel had free bikes, and we also much enjoyed the boat trip. Thank you for a nice stay!
We booked with Yennie for 1 night and ended up staying for 2. Very hospitable host family with a cute yard and lots of nice attention to details in the room. Yennie offers many interesting local tour options, and self-guided tour routes if you want to bike around and explore on your own. Also nice plus on host's commitment to sustainability. Feel water filter system and re-used items in her garden everywhere, very heartwarming to see! You should support this family if you go to Vinh Long
Great hosts, super friendly and helpful, own boats and tours, organization of transfers to and from the homestay was perfect - the owner fully takes care incl. ferry transfer over the river, large rooms with own bathroom outside, calm area, fantastic food with possibility to prepare part of the dinner on your own
