We encountered a problem with stairs. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate my wife's handicaps and moved us to another room in a different building on a fully=booked holiday weekend. Breakfasts were excellent, far above a simple "continental breakfast". Rooms were quite spacious, view of U of O campus was great. This was one of the best away from home stays we've had in several years, and we've traveled to all states, most of Europe, the Caribbean, South America and Asia.
Lovely house with real history and private balcony. Great hosts, so considerate and fabulous breakfast too. Great recommendations for local restaurants, personally made us a reservation at True Kitchen, which was superb. Gail and James were so hospitable, friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfy too!
We loved the location; it was a 5-minute walk to the beach. We had a view of the beach from our place. We had the basement suite so it was quite spacious. We had use of the kitchen which was nice. The neighborhood was very quiet at night. The hostess Shirley was very helpful and organized. We had a very tasty breakfast with lots of homemade treats.
