The breakfast was great. Lydia was a great host.
Clayton is a small town and there is not much there apart from this fabulous hotel. Old, authentic and beautiful with the friendliest staff one can imagine. The restaurant is really nice, too, with lots of locals coming in for a good dinner. Breakfast is so much better than what most chain hotels have to offer. Neaby attractions include Clayton Lake State Park and the Capulin volcano. The Eklund is the perfect stop, quite simply.
Heidi was a great host.
Kimo was such a great host. The room was beautiful and very clean. Kimo really wanted me to have a great time and was passionate about all Santa Fe had to offer.

We arrived in time for karaoke Tuesday, and it was heaps of fun! Great staff, excellent food and service, and a great place to meet locals and other travellers alike. One of the best places we've stayed in the USA so far!
Beautiful traditional Taos house, in idyllic setting. Lovely host who went of of her way to make our stay as good as possible. Great breakfast too. Highly recommended.
We opted to stay elsewhere. When we arrived at the property it was 10pm. Much to our surprise the inn was a private residence on an unlit street with no designated parking. The property owner was unwilling to refund despite our safety concerns.
