The chef was great, he came in at short notice on Eid after we foolishly didn’t plan for the holiday. The pool was great too.

From the moment we stepped in, we felt like we went back in time. This boutique hotel is decorated with very very good taste, with antiques and lovely traditional items. The place is quiet, even though it is located in the medina, very close to the big mosque. The room, although not very large, was decorated in the same manner, creating a sense of peacefulness. We were welcomed by Ahmed, who was very friendly and helpful. When we return to Tunis, we will definitely stay in El Patio!

Why are the croissants in Tunisia so much better than home?! The breakfast was good (it includes croissants!), the rooms was comfortable and the property was as beautiful as the photos. Our host, Hedi, was very helpful and accommodating.
