There are so many things I loved about this property! First and foremost is the staff, they are so friendly, helpful, kind, generous, and thoughtful. I happen to be here for Christmas and they had a secret Santa and a community dinner. It was so incredible to connect with so many people. The owner, Ing, cares so much about the people that come here and also about her staff. Joan, Fong, Sarah, Om and others, whose names I can’t remember… Everyone was so wonderful! The dorms are clean. The beds are comfortable. There’s a wonderful café open from 9 AM to 9 PM with all kinds of great things to eat. Space really fosters a sense of community and connection for visitors. And even welcome those that don’t stay here. A convenient location to Long Beach, and all the parties and festivities that happen at the bungalows on the beach. Plus great for early-morning beach runs and swimming. It’s close by to the main road. If you don’t have a scooter, you can walk to lots of great places to eat and shops nearby.

For the price this place really exceeded our expectations. The room was detached so very quiet and the bed and bedding was all comfortable (nice to have 4 pillows!). Shower was powerful and hot and bathroom was very clean and modern. The large TV was a nice touch and also a bonus to have a hairdryer, toiletries, slippers and minibar which isn't always found in this price range.

The location is outside the city - you need a car or motorcycle. The room was very, very clean. The bed is nice. There is a salt water swimming pool. The price is very good. But (... and I say this with good intentions - while giving a high score) it is probably not a good idea to keep chickens and roosters near the hotel room, unless you want that your customers get up at 4AM every day..... The owner is very kind. My general impression is very positive.

Late afternoon you can enjoy the feeding of hornbills. It is recommended to have an own motorbike.
