Situated in Juayúa in the Sonsonate Department region, Samay Hostel features a garden. The property has mountain and city views, and is 43 km from El Imposible National Park. This is an amazing hostel! Super clean and the kitchen was very well kept. It's a little down the road from the main town but honestly, if you can snag a spot here, I would. Just make sure to do it in advance because the spots fill up fast. I had a private room and it was very spacious with a nice balcony. I only stayed one night because I had to head back to the capital but I wish I stayed longer to see the other towns in the rutas de floras. The hostel also has a motobike shop associated with it but unfortunately, when I was there, the lady that managed them was out of town.

The place is incredibly clean, has the cutest shared garden and a wonderful shared kitchen. The host is always there for any needs which we had. Great recommendations for guides to the 7 water falls and to restaurants. Also the parking was very secure. Inside the room there was hot water showers and great stations and Netflix for the TV. Also good WIFI.

Cosy tiny apartments at the front side of the street with a bigger one passed the inner garden. Everything is clean and the administrators are super helpful and efficient in communication and service. We recommend this place.

Located in Apaneca in the Ahuachapan Department region, Hostal Puertas De Apaneca features a garden. It is set 38 km from El Imposible National Park and offers a concierge service. The owner provided coffee and water. She was very friendly and flexible with moving around our booking dates. There wasn’t any air conditioning, but you won’t need it because the climate there is so much cooler! I just slightly cracked the window open and it was enough to keep the room nice and cold. The room was very clean and the wifi was a bonus! The owner even gave us some recommendations for food and tourism. I’ll definitely book here the next time I return to El Salvador.

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of garden, Portal de los Farolitos is set in Concepción de Ataco, 31 km from El Imposible National Park. Very cozy place, with a lovely outside area. Clean rooms and the shower has hot water!! Very friendly staff as well, we had a nice talk with them.

Boasting a garden, Hostal Doña Mercedes is located in Juayúa in the Sonsonate Department region, 44 km from El Imposible National Park. Staff was helpful, kind and attentive. Beautiful garden and courtyard. Although this was the first town where we found overall folks to be unwelcoming, this hostel was a little ray of sunshine and welcoming.
