You will find yourselves right next to the inhabited Medieval citadel of Sighişoara. This property has been on my accomodation bucket list for a long time! Everything was perfect, from the staff welcome at check-in, to the beautiful atmosphere, the room. Everything about this stay is unique - and if you visit Sighisoara, you MUST stay at this home!

The location was great, close to the old town. The fact that it had free parking was exceptionally convenient and the host was very kind and welcoming.

Gasthaus Alte Post is located in the historic centre of Sighişoara, just 300 metres from the Clock Tower, and offers a restaurant serving local Transylvanian cuisine. Free WiFi access is available in all public areas. I came with my husband and two kids. They met our requirement for smaller and cheaper room, but with extra bed. The location is fantastic, at the bottom of old city walls. And there is great restaurant in-house, for meal options besides breakfast.

Free parking spaces are available on site and a bus stop is 200 metres away. Very beautiful, relaxing place with a stunning garden. I immediately had a holiday feeling when I arrived. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is delicious and prepared with a lot of love.

The room we stayed in had a modern decor and was done to a very high standard. The room, although not huge, felt spacious enough for a few nights stay and the space was used very well, with there being a sleeping space and a sitting space with a couch and TV. The room felt spacious enough for a few night's stay. There was also a balcony with seating which was a nice touch. Between the bedroom and the shared kitchen there were all the facilities you could need and the hosts had even left a bottle of a local homemade alcohol, which was a really nice personal touch. The location was excellent, with it being a few minutes walk to the center of Sighisoara. There is also a parking garage which is great if traveling by car. Overall this was an excellent stay, with the room being clean, comfortable and decorated well and I would definitely stay here again.

Great property, a little off the absolute center of town but quite walkable, it was extremely hot when we went so maybe that's why the walk seemed a little bit of a chore. It is otherwise a wonderful place with great hosts and gives you a home like feeling, Bogdan and his mother were absolutely superb. Thank you both of you. Keep it up.
Exceptional apartment: originally designed and decorated, very clean and comfortable, has its own private parking, close to a supermarket and walking distance to the city centre. Great host, attentive to client's needs and requests!

The apartment was great, there was everything what you need, beds are great and everything is new. Nothing was missing. Aleksandra was waiting for us to come, she is great host, and for us who come by car, parking in front of building was important. We recommend for singls or family with kids.
Absolutely beautiful rooms, and the staff (especially Sutru, who checked us in) was first rate. Sutru was truly one of the most friendly & happy people I have met in my travels. The hotel had been a private residence and has only been open as a hotel for about a year. All new fixtures & furniture, and a pool table for extra fun. The owner was friendly & explained the transition from residence to hotel in detail. This hotel is a real gem.

First of all - great hosts! The place is equipped with nicely furnished shared kitchen and spacious hall, clean rooms (beside some accidental spider webs on walls and in corners in ours I think, since we've been to just 1 room). Very spacious bathroom! Owners have a cute barrel sauna and a wooden pool) It was too hot for us to use it, however it looked cool! Should be a great experience in winter) Back yard also had a swing) Fresh mountain air in the bucolic countryside, Great both for kids and adults!)
We felt like locals it was so close to everything including the Old Town. It was great relaxing on the balcony with the grape vines in the afternoon sun. Check in was easy with the code & Radu was available quickly for any help or questions we had. My sister & I Loved our stay especially with the parking option as well. It was very quiet considering how close it was to the main area & we were very comfortable in the spacious apartment. Would 100% stay here again.
