The home is warm and welcoming, with many amenities to support a comfortable stay: from extra heaters and blankets to plentiful mugs and dishes for tea or breakfast. The room is also spacious. Finally the host was available and helpful throughout our stay. We could walk to dinner in Owaka, which was an added bonus.

All units come with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with streaming services and a private bathroom with bathrobes, hot tub and shower. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the homestay, every unit includes bed linen and towels. Staying in a heritage home was a privilege. The grounds, the gardens, and the whole atmosphere was refreshingly different. Books on the history of the home were important to appreciate the life style then. Cooked breakfast served on a platter was excellent. One could select quantity. Matt and Brooke great hosts.

At the homestay, the units have bed linen and towels. Everything! The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable - much needed after a long drive. We really loved the interior design and amenities provided! Paul was such an amazing host, friendly, accommodative and provided us with valuable recommendations. The view from our room was amazing and we loved the hot drinks/snacks provided upon check-in. The place was quiet, peaceful and we appreciate the proximity of the place to Albatross Centre, avoiding a long drive to town on a dark night. I would recommend the place to everyone!

Sunny Mornington 2 Bedroom Guest Suite is a beautiful 1930s character home located 5 minutes' drive to the Octagon, the heart of Dunedin city.

This 2-bedroom suite has a well equipped kitchenette with microwave, rice cooker, fridge, toaster and kettle. The sunny main bedroom has a flat-screen TV and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed and shares the owner's bathroom facilities. Large sunny deck area with BBQ and outdoor seating area for guests to enjoy. Spacious well equipped apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. Hosts were lovely and so welcoming.
