Host allowed us to use his washingmachine. Price was ok. Would return. Taxis are cheap so it is easy to get to whereever you need to be.

Good hostel, nice staff. Nice localisation, close to the city center. Cheap, beds very comfortable. Clean.
I did not stay there because the host was unwilling to meet us. She or he said that they will sent an employee to the homestay but we have to pay the worker 30 Myr to book us in and I presume another 30 Myr to book us out. We had a long discussion and then she or he told me to cancell the booking. It seems to me that the host and myself have different opinions as to the duties and responsibilities of a host.

Cosy & clean, a 'homestay' atmosphere that makes u feel like part of the owner's family. Lovely hosts, super friendly and accommodating, lobby area is like a homely living room with free flow coffee and tea, snacks. 24hr convenience shop just next door, restaurants too.
No frills facilities yet you get all the necessary stuff to make your stay comfortable. Location is very near to the Escape Penang and Penang National Park. The main eateries, convenient shops and wet market are within 5 to 10 minutes of cycling (free bicycles). Tony is a great host who is responsive to our needs. I really enjoy the tranquil surroundings and the friendly locals. Would definitely come back again.
