Amazing onsen facilities (free of charge), the women’s relaxation and getting ready area was super useful given the smaller size of Japanese hotel rooms. They have a large laundry facility with about 8 machines including 4 combination washer/dryer with a pin. There is free filtered cold water and ice on the 4th floor. The tube station is 9mins walk and the area is lively with friendly locals. You get amazing facilities for the value you pay. We would stay here again if we come back to Osaka.
Great host and very welcoming.. room was great and bed super comfy. Had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay even caught up on some washing.
I liked how you got your own private room, with a very comfortable futon to sleep on, the staff were very kind and courteous, an helped whenever needed, despite the area being labeled as "sketchy" i found no issues in the area; all the locals were very friendly. There's no curfew, you can walk in and out at any time whether it's 4pm or 4am
We had the whole apartment for ourselves so it was easy to cook for us. Such option really helped us as vegetarian food options in Osaka (and Japan in general) are quite limited. The apartment had washing mashine, outside area where we could dry our clothes, and air-condition in each room. It had a tradinional Japanese vibe so we could feel like proper locals during our stay. We were close to the main metro line which made our exploration much easier. Also, definitely check out local riverside park where we went far picnic on our last day.
I stayed during Japan trip - the neighbourhood was awesome. Walking distance from metro line. Convenient store right around the corner, dozen of karaoke bars where you can socialize with locals. The place was clean and comfortable for two people. The walls are thin so you can hear neighbours but it was not problem for me.
The place feels like your “own” apartment in Osaka. We felt like we were locals for a week. It was really great and gave a lot to our experience. Walking distance from the Umeda and Fukushima stations. A MaxValu and a Family Mart is nearby. The beds are big and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom too. There is equipment in the room to clean if needed. Enough storage space for all our clothes and a washing machine (amazing). Would book again.
i have stayed there for almost a week and was very happy! the hotel & sourounding area is very affordable; you can do your daytrips from there without Problems. Plus it's just fun to interact with the locals (if you speak some japanese). The hotel room was conftably big (for 1 pers.) & it has even a cooler. can't go wrong staying there!
Lovely hostel with loads of character, and super friendly staff. The bar/cafe downstairs was a great place to meet people and it seemed like hostel guests and locals were hanging out there. The rooftop was an awesome space to have a few beers. Beds were super comfy and spacious, and there were good curtains so the bunks felt private.
