The host was eager to have a chat and told us of some nice places to go to. The room was beautiful and clean. We had delicious meals made by the family themselves. Having breakfast in there living room, made it an authentic experience. The brother of the host would drive us around in his Tuktuk. And since we travelled to the next place on a festival day, the host decided to bring us himself to Munnar. Which is an 5 hour drive. So, we were very grateful and had a great drive with him.

Was simple but very yummy and also at very reasonable price! The sea beach was literally 2 min walk from the room and I felt it like my personal beach while bathing in the sea there , however, you can't bathe in the sea there if the sea level is increased due to rain etc. because it is a small beach. The host and the family are friendly. They got autoriksha booked from next door for my drop to the bus stop when I left and helped me with my luggage to put in the autoriksha. Well ventilated room. Value for money and very convenient from many perspectives.

The sea is hardly 50 meters from the room. Cherai is known for the gentle nature of the sea. The property is managed by Unni, who was very helpful and pleasant. There is a restaurant 'Shivettante kada' downstairs. Great sea food at very affordable rates. All in all a great experience.
