Very charming! Lovely hosts who left us to it. Warm shower, comfy beds, lots of cosy Welsh blankets.
The lodge is beautiful as is the location. Lodge had everything you could possibly need. Plenty of cooking utensils, cleaning products, Hoover, Iron and ironing board, Wi-Fi and smart tv books dvds and so much more didnt want for anything. There was garden furniture for four people with a table. Every angle covered. The Host was one of the most helpful hosts we have stayed with and we will DEFINITELY be staying again soon. Hats off to a great Host and a beautiful Lodge.
The lovely hosts were very accommodating at all times and check-in couldn’t have been easier! We loved the quirkiness of the Lean to and our kids thoroughly enjoyed the super cosy bath and fab mezzanine hideout where they slept. We were left some gorgeous fresh apple juice and eggs, which was greatly appreciated!
Sue was a lovely host.
This place was superb. It was so peaceful with outstanding views. Perfect for a lovely restful couple of nights away with an added bonus of being able to watch buzzards and kites from the apartment window. The accommodation is well furnished with everything you need and Freer was a great host Would definitely go back. Thankyou!
Stayed one night as a stop over in a large double room with ensuite. Beautiful property in rural location, good for Elan Valley. The host was really nice and provided an excellent cooked to order breakfast. Small pub a few minutes walk away with friendly staff / locals. Would definitely use it again if in the area. Bare in mind nowhere to eat locally.
The staff, Maddy(the dog), the locals, the food, the Brecon Beacons all fantastic!
Great host and a nice place to stay. Nice bunch of locals in the bar and good evening meal.
Plas Esgair is a delightful "private home" to stay. You are welcomed in a charming place by Martin, who - while you stay there - is going out of his way to help you. He is a very good chef (the fish dish is excellent), and has many helpful tips for great tours. We loved staying at Plas Esgair, and will certainly go there again.
