Location location location. And what simply lovely hosts. The main and real reason for staying, and returning once again in the future to stay, at Seaview were the warm and very hospitable hosts -- you don't find that many places these days with this special and very unusual personal touch. They were such fine people Martina and Brendan. We did not have a vehicle and their son Patrick dropped my daughter and I to a restaurant for dinner and Brendan took us all the way to the train station two towns away and stopped to allow me to pick up a gift from the gift shop. He provided onward travel suggestions and gave us a little tour with lots of quaint details on the way to the station. The room and bathroom was sumptuously comfortable. Breakfast excellent and as requested. Martina and Brendan have invested time and care in making sure every detail was just right from the welcoming cookies to where you might have your tea to little signs and notes on where things can be found. We had no real reason for visiting Rostrevor on our holiday in Northern Ireland in May 2022 but Seaview was in the the reason to visit. Peaceful, so beautiful and wonderful hospitality. It is located amongst picturesque countryside, just 25 minutes' drive from Belfast Airport and offers free WiFi and free parking. The location was great. Just a few miles from the center of town and the train station on a quiet country road. The owner made us feel very welcome and the staff were very helpful. The room was really spacious.

The Cuan Boutique Hotel is a family-run guest inn with good food and rooms with a digital TV and free internet. It is located in the conservation village of Strangford, on the shores of Strangford Lough. Excellent breakfast. Delicious dinner in the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, in the center of the village and close to the ferry.

Shelleven Guest House is a Victorian property with great charm and period features throughout, providing luxurious accommodation and dining in a warm relaxed atmosphere. The property was rated as 4-star accommodation by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board. Faultless! Breakfast was a work of art. Wi-fi was perfect. The settings have real character - a really nice balance. Generous supply of beverages and nice touches in room. I would have happily paid more for what was a very reasonable rate.
