The property is located 26 km from Notre Dame Church, 26 km from Royan Train station and 26 km from Congress Center. Fort Boyard is 32 km from the guest house. The owner (Guillaume) is charming and very welcoming. There were beer and soft drinks available for purchase. Our room and communal areas were very comfortable and clean. We arrived by bicycle and there was a garage to store the bikes. Very nice if you’re on a motorbike or bicycle! We opted for breakfast. It was good value and included some delicious homemade jams. The garden area and patio is really nice. There is a jacuzzi available at extra charge but we didn’t try it. Had it been a cold wet day; after arriving by bicycle that would have been really nice!!

Beautiful room and ensuite. Like the electric security blinds and the table and chairs sitting outside. Also the electric security gates gave peace of mind at night. Continental breakfast really good and well worth it. Would definitely come back.

The breakfasts were exceptional- far more provided than a usual continental breakfast- we enjoyed over three days: scrambled eggs, cheese, prosciutto, baked treats (croissants and pain au chocolat) crepes, homemade breads and jams, and fresh fruit with crème fraîche or rice pudding. Also freshly - squeezed orange juice and fabulous café au lait. We really appreciated the comfortable, updated room, beautiful garden and heated pool, as well as the availability of easy-to-ride bicycles which allowed us to explore the town, gorgeous beaches and go to restaurants further afield. The staff, Amandine and Elise, were exceptionally helpful and charming. First rate experience all round!! Highly recommended!!

Pascale is an amazing, friendly and lovely person! We felt really welcome and enjoyed our stay a lot. The breakfast was also really nice and tasty!

The house is charming, in an old restored villa with abundant art work and immaculate and modern bathrooms. The location was close to the best beach and walking/bicycling trails on one side, and charming Arcachon center on the other.
