Posada La Torre de La Quintana is housed in a listed historical building that breathes an air of nobility and aristocracy, surrounded by the beautiful lush Cantabrian countryside. It also offers apartments located 800 metres from the main building. The grounds and the room were both beautiful. It is in a quiet area with a great shower and great Wi-Fi. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The room was very clean which was very important to me. Thanks for a hotel that actually takes pride in keeping the rooms clean and well cared for! Comfy bed, nice hot shower and quiet. Towels and sheets were good and clean without fragrance. Well designed. Nice staff. Bathroom good and clean condition, didn't see any mold or anything. I would stay there again.

Situated in Santillana del Mar, 27 km from Santander Port, Posada La Fontana features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 28 km from Puerto Chico. The guest house features family rooms. The room had all we needed, nice clean bathroom, spacious closet, little balcony with a view to the mainland and most importantly a comfortable bed. We really enjoyed the breakfast, which has been sourced by local products, and served by our friendly host directly to the table.

Delicious oranges for making fresh orange juice, tasty coffee, rolls, cheese and meats. Very comfortable accommodation that has been stylishly decorated. Their two dogs …very friendly and sweet. The nearby town is very cute and stylish …def worth an amble around .

The location was first class, it's a very popular venue with locals which is a great sign. The staff were fabulous and the food was amazing.
Very welcoming staff gave us a glass of cava, carried bags to the room, and ensured we were familiar with all the facilities. We liked the complimentary breakfast provided in the room, featuring local Cantabrian specialities. The advice they gave us about where to eat was excellent - we found ourselves in places frequented by locals, with good food and fair prices. They make every effort to ensure you have a good stay. Well done - I'd stay there again.
Great hostel in a really good location (ecpecially if you continue camino coastal route). Really liked the beds and hospitality. As a pilgrim I found the mix of pilgrims and party people not ideal but would definitely come back but not friday + saturday. Very clean!
We enjoyed our stay here because we felt so welcome. Laurie the new owner really made our stay very pleasant. She is a great host and made sure we were comfortable.
The accommodation was beautiful and everything was exactly as we expected from description and photographs. This family run posada is a gem because it is just outside of the main village but close enough to walk. Great car parking facilities too! Having a kettle and fridge in the room was very good 👍 lovely hosts who speak only a little English , we wish we spoke more Spanish.
Lovely and clean. Nice kitchen with free tea and coffee. Lovely host and very helpful. Bang in the middle of everything, so very convenient. Comfy beds with sheets and duvets.
Great location near to beaches. Mostly frequented by pilgrims. Very basic breakfast included. Restaurant was a bit chaotic in the evening as a lot of pilgrims and it was a public holiday so locals as well. My wife had finished her main course by the time I got mine , however only restaurant in the village. I would stay there again though.
The room was incredible for the price I paid (34 euro for a double room!) it had great views from the room, the bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless with a powerful shower. The hotel was perfectly located close to some great 'locals' bars. For the price I paid it exceeded my expectations.
Excellent hotel. Great location, spotlessly clean with comfortable cozy room. Very good breakfast in restaurant where we ate with the locals. Also a good evening menu offering a 10% discount for hotel guests. Perfect location, 10 minute walk to all attractions and also to bus station. Excellent value for money and would rate it more of a very good 3 star rather than a 2 star
Posada is full of character with small garden courtyard. Additionally there is an auberge being part of the same building which is obviously very popular with the locals both at lunchtime and in the evening. It is therefore suggested that reservations for meals are made in advance. Altogether a real Spanish experience with great hosts making for a very enjoyable stay.
