Pension Garibai exceeded our expectations. It was a little gem of an accommodation in San Sebastian! The location was the best (near the old town, Gros and the Beach), the rooms were just the right size with a little balcony, the bathrooms were a good size and most of all Amaia was always so accommodating and helpful. No need to think. Just book here. Valle for money. Nothing fancy but it had everything we needed and wanted. Would definitely book here again!

Amazing location right by the beach, good facilities, lovely host.
I liked everything about the apartment: it looks exactly like in the pictures, it really feels like home and gives an insight into how locals live in Bilbao. It was clean, well equipped and you can not find better location in Bilbao. Next to Guggenheim, the museum of fine arts, conference center, many bistros, shops, etc. It is a safe area with kind neighbours. The host, Lucia, is very responsive and supportive.

The photos don’t do talamendi justice. Clean , spacious accommodation and dog friendly. The staff are knowledgeable but tend to say places to visit are a shorter walk than they actually are. Up the hill is a field where you can let your dog lose some of that energy. Beaches officially do not allow dogs but we did not have any issues at the east side of the beach. Lots of locals doing the same thing.
The location was superb, we liked the local side of town (not too turistic) and we shopped where the locals dit their groceries. The neighbourhood was nice. It was also near the beach (30 minutes walking), excellent food, ...
Large room, excellent location, small elevator, very clean bathroom. Great social atmosphere in the whole old town area. But make sure you bring earplugs for Saturday nights. The locals party on in the streets of the old town till the early hours. But is a lot of fun. Must bring earplugs for some nights sleeping!
The location and value for money were excellent, the room was also nice and clean. The service was also excellent and friendly even though the lovely host didn’t speak English
The apartment was amazing, good location, comfortable living room and smart TV. Easy to use electronic key and lovely hosts that met us. Would definitely stay again
Really good hostel, clean and modern, bunks with curtains, plugs for your electronics, decent showers. Good space downstairs to chill or do some work.
