Located well away from the main road in the farm complex. Very quiet, and the property was much bigger than I expected but it was absolutely perfect. It had everything I could possibly have needed for my stay.

The host is exceptionally good at communication. The room was so nicely decorated, it uplifts your mood instantly. Big TV , home theater system, fully equipped kitchen with all cleaning products and groceries completely ready. A huge comfortable couch to relax. I travelled many countries in Europe and stayed in many home stays and I would say this home stay is one of the best. Kudos to the host.
The hotel was very close to shops, restaurants, take aways and ice cream shop. It is also walking distance to the bus and train station for tourists and locals to travel to Hamburg City. ( The train is very reliable and on time ) all the time. The hotel staff were lovely people. They are very welcoming and accommodatingThe lady at the reception let us even borrow an adapter. Navi was also nice . Checking in and out was easy. The place was clean.
Solidarity when travelling, with staff and locals is something not many places can offer. The people are lovely and it’s clean. This is the place to be if you’re vegetarian/vegan as the rest of Lübeck doesn’t seem to have gotten the wake up call on that front. They really take constructive feedback and try to make the place as best as it can be for everyone ☺️

The apartment is great and has everything needed for a long stay. It is big, good natural light all over, in a very calm neighborhood and has all supermarket at the end of the street, you choose what you prefer (ALDI, LIDL, REWE, etc). One good extra: the bed is very comfortable. Chris is a great host, very responsive and very nice. I enjoyed a lot my days in Lübeck, I was working remotely (the wifi worked perfectly and fast) and still was able to enjoy the daylight several times going by bus to the city center, it takes 10min.
Great location for walks on the dike and to go on day trips exploring the wadden sea coast (for good weather). Great flat to hang out, relax and cook (for bad weather). Great host (true for all weather ;))
Lovely place - was traveling for business but can imagine families with kids having a great time real family run place - pigs chickens geese... Beautiful setting and lovely hosts.

We really recommend this apartment, it was like living at home with all the great equipment and nice and modern design. Axel and Anne is great hosts and helped out with all our questions, and was very informative before our arrival and during our stay. We will most certainly rent their apartment again when in Husum.
