It was cold and raining almost the whole time of our vacation. The room was cozy and warm with new equipment. Bed was very comfortable. We had delicious dinner in the caffe downstairs. The Hotel Föhrenhof Garni is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. We arrived very late at night and phoned to say we wouldn’t be in until closer to 11pm. They could not have been more accommodating and even insisted on giving the four of us our choice of cake, complimentary, before going to our rooms. Fabulous!

Boasting water sports facilities and views of garden, Welcome to Munich by Martina is a recently renovated homestay situated in Munich, 6.7 km from Munich-Pasing Train Station. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The property features a children's playground and parking on-site. With Martina and Siggi you really feel welcome and like their best friends. It was a pleasant change compare to "stay with local" type of accomodation when you receive only code to unlock your door but never meet the locals. The accomodation has garden where you can relax and I was allowed to park my bike here. It is located is in peaceful area approximately 40 minutes by public transport from the city center, but you can also find supermarkets nearby. Although you share the house with the owners, you have privacy with the facilities on your floor. The rooms are comfortable and thematically designed, bathroom is shared but doesn´t feel crowded.

Very calm location with close proximity to the lake (10 minute walk), the facilities were clean and well kept. The room was spacious and light. There is a shared kitchen area with all the things you might need. The host is very friendly and jolly and helped us with everything we needed. There is a large parking lot, so parking is not a problem either. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

The proom was excellent, with a large bathroom. The lcoation was, for my purposes, ideal but I realize my circumsntances are not the same than for everybody. The breakfast was superb. And all of this I got for 60 Euros.
