One of the cheapest yet surely one of the best places to stay in Huay Xai. The room was very spacious and clean, and they offer (for a fee) breakfast and packed lunch to take on the boat with you. The hostel is run by a lady who is an absolute legend - she is very nice and friendly, and helped us with everything we needed on our first day in Laos. She arranged the boat tickets for us, and advised us on where to exchange money and get a SIM card. Great location as well, the tuktuk from the border leaves you right in front of the guesthouse. Don't hesitate to stay here if you're in Huay Xai.
