The staff are amazing. The lady that runs the place is so friendly and she makes a delicious breakfast. I stayed in 2 different rooms and both were great…clean and with good views of the mountains and surrounding area. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

I originally planned to only stay for two nights but upon arriving and experiencing the beauty of my room at this village I immediately extended my stay. Ended up staying for 17 days and I don't regret one second of it! My room was beautiful and comfortable with a balcony and amazing mountain view. There's a beautiful garden down stairs that you can walk around. Ponds stocked with loads of fish and amazing trees and plants everywhere! You can even go for walks through the village and stumble across random animals and picturesque views of all the nature. It's all very peaceful and a good place to relax / live the slow life for a bit (especially if you need some time to think about life). If you're looking to get away from it all then look no farther. This place definitely felt like paradise to me and is the closest thing to a home I've felt since leaving my home to travel for a bit. The host family is so sweet!! I got pretty close with them during my time there so if you have the time feel free to get to know them! You won't regret 😀 Side note they also speak French well 😀 And again, this place is a hidden gem. Enjoy it before word gets out 😜 PS - sharing mountain sunsets in the lobby and bathroom photo slots so y'all can see what I mean haha.

The view was facinating! Probably the best you can have in Chiang Dao and surroundings. Just as the hospitality of Mr. Su Chin and his wife, we really felt like family which was precious. They served us very generous breakfasts, changed terrace carpets, gave us extra blankets when it was cold, and in general took care of every detail or request. As they speak little English, they use Google Translate to communicate, so understanding is not a problem, and even fun. The homestay is surrounded with their own huge garden and has only 5 bungalows, so it's beautifully quiet and green. Very clean, including the area around and all the facilities. Hot shower, an electric kettle, a big bottle of water and 3-in-1 coffee to start the day. Definitely recommend it, this is the place, vibes and the view we travel for.
