The room was basic but very clean and had everything we needed and the bathroom was a good size. The use of a washing machine was good. You have to book in at the hotel a short way down the road, but this was no oroblem

The staff were very helpful and very welcoming. Any questions were dealt with in a very friendly way.They advised us where to go for evening food nearby. Breakfasts were GREAT with plenty of choices and lots of good food from the Buffet service. The hotel is very centrally located too.

This was directly on the camino with a swimming pool in the back garden. The hostess was very welcoming and cooked a very good evening meal. Breakfast was excellent as well. The decor of the house was a little quirky, and everything was spotlessly clean. The bathroom set up in our room was different, with the toilet being a sort of cupboard and the big shower just in the corner of the room, but it wasn't any problem. An enjoyable stay.

The room was very neat & clean with a very comfortable bed and a shower to kill for after a long days walk. The lady that owned/managed the property was magnificent and could not do enough for you. She supplied a Wonderful pilgrims breakfast and enough ‘good vibes’ to last a week!
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Breakfast was excellent with a good choice on offer. The setting of the Quinta was lovely, surrounded by lemon trees and very peaceful. There was a good sized infinity pool and plenty of seating areas in sun and shade. It was a very restful place to stop and relax and the host family were all very friendly and welcoming, particularly Philippa whose English is amazing.
Great design and organisation especially for caminho. Excellent location. Great breakfast on the top floor with great view. Loved Barcelos, and great hostel/guest house.
Modern 3 star hotel, great location right in downtown Barcelos, steps to most of the interesting sites. Room was modest in size, clean. Related restaurant next door is a bit pricy but the service is of a very high quality as is the food. I choose the restaurant for both dinners of my two nights stay and was not disappointed. The restaurant is extremely popular with the locals - there was a line-up for lunch on Easter Sunday.
