Luis, the owner and host gave us tons of tips on what to do and see in Valle Douro during the day. And at night, during the wine tasting and dinner he went above and beyond telling and explaining the group what the art of doing wine in Douro really was all about. The wine was delicious and dinner was amazing as well!!! And we ate and drank a lot. Which is always nice. The next day, we were able to give a stroll at the vineyard during harvesting and it was the best experience we’ve ever had when it comes to wine crafting. Thank you so much Luis! Keep making that delicious wine and being as welcoming as you are. We would love to come back one day!

Manuel and his family were amazing: friendly, hospitable; and helpful!! Felt like we were visiting long lost family. The property was extremely nice, rooms were great (clean, comfortable, well appointed), and the scenery was awesome. Little cool outside to enjoy the pool...but we would have!!

We were welcomed with lovely port wine and cakes, the space is amazing, there’s a lovely terrace with a wonderful barbecue. The bedrooms are spacious and cozy, the kitchen very well-equipped. The hosts were extremely welcoming and always available, information about rules of the house and amenities were very clear. The views are incredible and the surroundings very peaceful.

Everything about this place is amazing and beyond expectations. The host Margarida has done an exceptional job at renovating a family home to welcome you. We loved her genuine friendliness, advice and honest chats about living and growing up in Portugal. Her brother, Luis has an informative, unique and tasty wine tour experience on the property. Don't forget to book this. The quality of sleep and breakfast is top star! and the wines and olive oil are so good too.

This is a remote location which after 5 weeks of heavy travel was much appreciated, beautiful views. The earlier reviews noted it was smart to bring my own food which I did. It was a wonderful retreat for a few days! This place is clean it is comfortable and the host is the absolute best. Daniel made sure I found his spot by guiding me there himself due to a road closure, the next day when I got turned around he helped me again. He is gracious very accomodati g and makes awesome PORT!
