A beautiful place to stay with exceptionally lovely hosts. We were made to feel so welcome. We did not have a car so the host very kindly gave us lifts to the bus stop and even into Christchurch for our early bus to Queenstown. We were unable to get out for meals but the hosts invited us to eat with them for a very reasonable price. Great food and great company. Beautiful garden with stream and secret hanging chairs to enjoy and relax in.

Breakfast was excellent, we wanted a certain item which they went out and purchased. Did a computer tricky booking for us which made our trip easier. A lovely old character house, just like new. with plenty of interesting items and furniture which made you feel at home. You did what you wanted. Good grounds, wish I could take it all back home.Great Host

Have just spent 8 nights at this little gem. Beautiful 1904 residence. Our lovely host Julie was very welcoming and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Great continental breakfast served in lovely dining room each morning. Highly commended.

Joy & Norman are lovely hosts. Breakfast is very good with homemade jam and lots of variety. The bed is ver comfi and the ensuite bathroom spacious and convenient. The walk-in closet was a nice xtra you don’t come across often. Everything was immaculately clean! It’s a private room and we loved being their guests. We even stayed an extra night.
