Our stay at Room for Two was amazing! The aesthetic was amazing. High quality linens, bedding, and soaps. The most comfortable pillows and duvets. Amazing open shower with a rain head if you want. The room was warm and quiet. This and all of the little extras, like coffee, fresh milk, fruit, and handmade biscuits, just made this place an absolute pleasure to be in. We traveled up for a wedding, and a Room for Two made the trip all the more enjoyable by giving us a place we looked forward to returning to. I am rather sad that we didn't have time to book at least one more night! I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The hosts were welcoming on our arrival and helped to ensure we settled in. They planned their maintenance on the property around when we wanted to use the facilities (spa and sauna) to ensure we weren't interupted. Breakfast was a good size and included in the price. It was a great place to base ourselves for the Hobbiton and the Waitomo caves.
