Stay@10, hotel in Blenheim

Stay@10 is a recently renovated homestay in Blenheim, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge.

Wonderful stay. Great communication from host. Easy to find, close to town, but not too close so it's not a busy street. First impression of room was warm and welcoming, the more I looked the more thoughtful features I saw, right down to the phone charger and little piggie ear plugs (which weren't needed here, but host was happy for me to take :)) Big boofy duvet and cushions to lounge on while watching TV or reading, super comfy. Bathroom is lovely, all the way down to heated toilet seat!! Drawers full of essential items you might need or have forgotten. Breakfast was excellent, huge range of cereals, teas, milks, homemade bread and jams. Totally going back and highly recommend. Perfect for ladies travelling alone too

Brancott Ridge, hotel in Blenheim

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, sea view and a patio, Brancott Ridge is set in Renwick.

Staying at Brancott Ridge was a fantastic experience. The bedroom, bathrooms and lounge were very clean, well furnished and with superb views. Being able to relax in the pool at the end of the day was great. Karla and the lovely dogs made us feel very welcome. Karla did us a huge favour by providing information about the local vineyards, and gave us bikes and a lift into Renwick. In all she was a great, accommodating host and made the stay exceptional.

We were driving up from Christchurch for a funeral and I had arranged an early check in. When we arrived our room wasn't ready but the lovely host upgraded us to a huge apartment and let us in at 9.30am, which was great. The next day as it was a frost he came out and put water all over our car windows. Such a pleasure.

The hosts were very nice and accommodating. We were only there for one night but they gave clear instructions and even gave tips on a few wineries to go visit. First time doing a homestay and they were courteous. Room had a heater that warmed up the room quickly. Also had heated mattress pads (that were a little too hot lol). Also had 2 windows form our room with nice views of the city and mountains.

Location was very close to the centre of town, yet also very quiet. Shared bathroom (for 2 bedrooms) on a floor above the host family, who were lovely hosts - offered their carpark if I found it too far to walk (post-knee-surgery) from the other (off-street) park available.
