I stayed for seven days with my family. Our stay was exceptional. The owner is very, very nice, helping, and cooperative. Our checkout time was 19:00, he didn't charge any extra. He helped us to drop us near the river to get a boat. When we were coming back he paid for us to the taxi driver without my knowledge, when we arrived at the airport driver told us he had already paid for you.
About stay, there is a separate entrance for family. Outside is wide area and is green. Big kitchen with free coffee. Hot and cold drinking water is also a hot shower. If next I will visit kuching I would like to stay at this place. Also I would like to recommend you for safe and calmn stay.

The location is A+. I wish I have a house in that area. All what you need is there. Microwave,washing machine,dryer,towels(they're very generous with towels),card lock entry,spacious common room with tv and netflix.water pressure is strong.Ample parking space.big and beautiful mosque just next door.a/c a bit slow to cool but once it's cool,it can be very cold.

Everything was perfect. The owner was very nice and wrote back quickly. The house had everything we needed. We could even store our bags at the house when we went to Bako. We had a great time!
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The hosts were so so lovely! I highly recommend this homestay for some relaxation within nature, lovely hikes near by and also beaches. You can see lots of monkeys in the trees near the pool. I would love to go back for a longer stay!
Very welcoming host who is happy to help you and take you to and pick you up from different locations (for example Damai beach). The property has a great view over some lush jungle and if you are lucky you can even spot the proboscis monkey from the garden! The rooms are cute, AC works fine and the beds are comfortable and clean. Beautiful sunset vibes with the sea in the distance as the homestay faces west. Our best stay in Borneo!
Great homestay and awesome hosts Louise and Polycarp. We saw a probiscus monkey in the back yard! Apparently, other monkeys do show up as well. The pool was a nice treat. Our room was comfy and spacious. The view through the bathroom window was amazing. Grounds are lovely. Close for pick up for the river night cruise and our hosts dropped us off and picked us up at the Sarawak Cultural Village. Would totally recommend.
Nanga Damai was all that we could have wished for . The location is stunning as is the ambiance .

Polycarp and Louise realise that the homestay is a little remote ( about a 30 min walk to a couple of restaurants) they offer transport to facilitate eating and visiting the cultural village .

The Homestay is a truley magical place. If you want to have some relaxing days in nature at a wonderful place with wonderful people, you should definitley gi there.
Not a lot of places and people like Poly and Louise are touching me like that when I am traveling.

Hosts are Amazing & really nice people. Location if you like walking. National park 10 minutes walk away. Sarawak culture village 25 minutes walk away. 3 beaches, pub/restaurant & food court all around 30 minutes walk. Swimming pool was great to sit there & see monkeys in the trees around the Homestay. Bread you have for breakfast is best we've had on our travels. Thank you Polycarp & louise for making our stay unforgettable ❤👍
