Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. I had never heard of a virtual hotel until I booked and visited the place. In fact, there is no hotel by that name. And a name close to what was promised was there. Earlier, when I wanted the booking to be confirmed of availability, I could not contact the given number, and when I finally did, the person was not aware of any such bookings and asked me an advance. So I am sure this is a new form of scam where people fool booking.com and rent virtual hotels and if and when people stupid enough to book they channel it to some of their friends.
There were web reviews too, but still, I wonder how somebody make a review of a non-existent hotel. All scams

Superb place, and the best homestay we stayed at. The hosts were very humble and kind. The place was only 1 km away from the bus stand, however, was very calm and peaceful. Separate access, private kitchen area, spacious room, and the balcony area was nice. Almost everything, felt like home because of the warm welcome by the hosts. Thank you Pearl's homestay.
This is the absolute best homestay you find in entire Sri Lanka! The hosts are so welcoming and the sweetest and treat you like family<3 They cook the most delicious breakfast in the morning and know a lot about the area to guide you.
Sometimes you stay at an accomodation and sometimes you come across a home like this. This homestay exceeded our expectations. Pearly and her husband were like family as we stepped into their home. Everything is cared for (amazing breakfast, trips to knuckles and any other place nearby). It was hard to leave this morning. Looking for a place home away from home? Look no further!
Breakfast was amazing. Pearl and Ranjan were excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble. They organised a tuk driver for me and Ranjan even came to the train station on my departure. The room was perfect and the bed very comfortable. I would happily recommend this homestay - a perfect retreat.
This felt like staying with Grandma and Grandpa. We felt very welcome and at home throughout our stay, hosts are very friendly and happy to help in anyway they can.
We extended our stay so that we could do a tour around the hosts local village which was beautiful and so worthwhile.
We also were able to cook dinner in their kitchen which was lovely and a nice change as we have both been traveling for a while.

This was one of the best homestays I have experienced. The hosts are very friendly, and hospitality is superb. We received a very tasty homemade breakfast. The house is located very close to Matale town (about 1.5 km). The view from the balcony is amazing. Highly recommended.
The hosts made the stay exceptional. They were so kind, welcoming and helpful! They helped us with everything we needed from recommendations to laundry, with a smile. They were great to chat to and prepared us a delicious breakfast! The property itself is gorgeous with an incredible view of Matale. The rooms are very comfortable and airconned!
