We spent one night in Evergreen Villa, which provides a stunning view over the nature area. The room we stayed in was build very recently and was clean and neat. We received a warm welcome with a welcome drink (a papaya smoothie). We did the 5-6 hours rainforest tour and had a wonderful time. We saw a lot of different animals, such as snakes, a scorpion, owls and monkeys.

We had such a lovely stay in Rainforest View and can absolutely recommend it! The couple took such good care of us, served us amazing food, arranged a tour guide for the rainforest and even went on a tour to a waterfall with us. It was like being part of the family and we are super happy that we chose to stay there. A translator app is helpful to communicate in English. The room is big and clean with two double beds and a great balcony with the famous rainforest view. Birds are everywhere and can be easily spotted from the house. We would always come back!

Such a wonderful spot. Beautiful area and excellent service. Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and had a gorgeous view!! They organised a tour for us in the rainforest with Achi which was such a lovely experience. This stay was definitely a highlight of our time in Sri Lanka.

The location of the bungalow was at the top of a high hill in wonderful forested county beset with mountains and valleys. One of the owners is a qualified rainforest guide, knowledgable in wildlife and able to take guests to National Parks and Forests. We went for one night and in the end stayed for three. Anyone interested in nature and wildlife would find everything they want at Sinhiraja Rest.
Sinharaja Forest Edge is situated right on the edge of the UNESCO site Sinharaja Rain Forest. The property offers complimentary transportation to the rain forest from Mederipitiya Village.

Wonderful family and a great place to stay. The room is the entire top floor, there's a living area, seperate bedroom and balcony. Definitely great value for money. Perfect location close to the start of the rainforest trekking path. The food cooked by the family is fantastic, huge portions and really tasty. I did the rainforest trek with the host and he was great, he will spot animals out of nowhere, quite amazing.

TikiriBanda is the man! He helped us in many ways to make our stay a comfortable one as well as the other staff members. Food is average can give 7/10, and bit expensive for locals. So its better to book it full or half board.

An absolute gem and one of the very best places we stayed. Amazing location, very clean and comfortable, lovely host family and lots of extra’s including a stocked mini bar. If you are visiting Sinharaja then this is the perfect accommodation. Our hosts arranged our hike, (which was quite challenging) with a guide and a picnic. Our driver found accommodation very nearby.
A beautiful home stay overlooking Rainforest and paddy Field , the breakfast and view really is incredible. if you’re looking for a relaxing homestay then this is perfect. The fruit in the garden is amazing and the host gave us lots to try. And dinner, breakfast and view highlighted.
Nice cabins and a pool dotted on the hillside with great views - very close to Sinharaj rainforest. Lovely host family, good food and were very helpful in arranging a rainforest hike.
The property is more like a home stay run by this lovely couple who are great hosts. She cooks fantastic Sri Lankan food and he is a great guide, very resourceful. Janith helped us out with almost everything..we were keen on seeing the endemic species of birds and he made sure we saw them all by organising a bird watching tour with a guide (Kumara) who was extremely knowledgeable . He also organised a tour into the rainforest with a great guide. Clean rooms, excellent food and property. Overall a 10/10.
