We loved everything about this accommodation! The staff were great and very helpful. The hostess was very accommodating asking how everything was and gave us recommendations. The room was well equipped if you wanted to eat in. The outdoor area was lovely and all rooms had a private dining table. But my favourite was having the cats and turtles and dog who were around the place from time to time!

Exceptional. We hadn't really planned any itinerary but Diana goes out of her way to make you completely ready with everything that can be seen in the time there. The location is perfect. Small view of the lake but not so important if you are going to be out most of the day. The room was clean, the facilities were amazing, interiors were cozy and bed was super comfortable. The small touches such as welcome drinks and snacks were a sweet touch. As good of a host as you will get. Would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting varenna.

Lovely antique room in the center of the very small town of Varenna. Our room had shared bathroom (I actually wanted a private one, but didn´t read I had actually booked a shared one). The room is very large, nice and comfortable. The host is super kind. On top of the room, you have a shared dining area, very comfortable. And the bathroom is large, modern, confortable and super clean. You also have a lovely terrace/balcony looking at the lake. And the location is perfect, in front of the main church, close to the small central square, and close to the botanic gardens that can be visited in the Hotel Villa Cipressi (only 300m away). You can also acess the lake shore very easily. Great place to stay in Lake Como. You can easily reach Bellagio and Menaggio with the ferry. The port is close to the appartment (aprox 1000m). You can walk.
