this is a really great homestay … my evening meals on all occasions were excellent, and tradition local dish . BBQ pork with fermented Soya bean …. local fish with fermented bamboo shoot . etc . the boss when out of his way to arrange a driver for my trip north … it didn’t quite work out but through no fault of his . I’ll treasure sitting in the kitchen around the fire in December for a while to come .

The guest house exceeded my expectations. Clean, comfortable and decent size rooms. good view of mountains and sunrise from the room I was given. Although the guest house is not right in the middle of the town it is easy to travel anywhere as the taxi stand is just 2 minutes away by walking. Delicious meals available at a reasonable cost and prior request. The place has bright and lively vibes, the staff is very helpful and friendly, special thanks to Atu who helped me with navigating around the town and made things so easy for me, even got up at 5 AM to see me off at the time of leaving. The owner is very friendly and kind. Overall a great experience staying here.
