this is a really great homestay … my evening meals on all occasions were excellent, and tradition local dish . BBQ pork with fermented Soya bean …. local fish with fermented bamboo shoot . etc . the boss when out of his way to arrange a driver for my trip north … it didn’t quite work out but through no fault of his . I’ll treasure sitting in the kitchen around the fire in December for a while to come .

The guest house exceeded my expectations. Clean, comfortable and decent size rooms. good view of mountains and sunrise from the room I was given. Although the guest house is not right in the middle of the town it is easy to travel anywhere as the taxi stand is just 2 minutes away by walking. Delicious meals available at a reasonable cost and prior request. The place has bright and lively vibes, the staff is very helpful and friendly, special thanks to Atu who helped me with navigating around the town and made things so easy for me, even got up at 5 AM to see me off at the time of leaving. The owner is very friendly and kind. Overall a great experience staying here.

We spent two nights here and every thing was to the perfection. The location was close to my destination and some centre of the town. I loved the food, unique taste. I am going to miss it. As for the room it’s spacious, clean and would definitely recommend this homestay to everyone.

Everything was great at this home stay.It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. We were in town for a very stressful event and going back to this room was very peaceful.
The plus point was they were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early and even allowed us to check out late like at 4:30pm.The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.

They provided scrumptious and healthy breakfast 😋. Since our stay was related to work, the availability of inverter in the homestay was of great help. Inverter facility is not mentioned on their page but good to call out. The home is situated not far from the main Street, but trust me you don't hear the hustle and bustle of the streets.The home is tidy, well kept and cozy.

Maple Homestay is tucked away in a quiet part of Kohima, yet easily accessible from P. R. Hill. My room was clean and well supplied with linen and covers. The breakfast and dinner were consistently excellent and great value. The host family was welcoming and helpful, often endearingly so. I would definitely stay there again.
