The view from the homestay is beautiful and one of the best views you can get for the valley. The people are warm and welcoming and the rooms are large. Good home cooked food was the highlight - the dal made by Aunty was among the best I've had in a long time. We wish we could have stayed longer.

It is uphill in the jungle, no proper path. Tough to reach, but if you make it, you will fall in love with the place and its people. Home food is delicious. Manish and Sonum are great hosts. Hersil Heritage Homestay offers a unique beautiful experience.
Location, simplicity, food, definitely recommend anyone who is going to harsil valley to stay here if you are coming with your car, has ample parking and is right on the road. Better than most hotels in the area. Did see some really good homestays while at harsil but compared to them this one triumphs on the counts of location and ease of access.
