Its the place what we were looking for ,far from the noisy environment of Darjeeling . I visited Darjeeling before and stayed in a hotel in the center experienced badly that time. Bloomfield is a place almost in the nature. We were really lost with the fantastic atmosphere . Its not a 5 star or a 4 star hotel in the city with high class bedroom but it's a romantic place. The staffs are very cordial . In the evening bonfire used to lit everyday where clients can enjoy the fire and their glasses. Mr.Arun ,the manager was always very careful ,he used to bring tea early in the morning to the room. Driver Chetan is an excellent chap, cracking cheeky jokes always when we used to go out with . He is also a good guide. I really miss this fantastic place. Surely I go back.

All the staff and owner were so humble.They let us know that breakfast was also included in the package and served us delicious breakfast too.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel like part of the family. Sandhya's home-cooked meals were a highlight of our stay. Every dish was prepared with care and bursting with local flavors, providing a true taste of Darjeeling. Their food was not only delicious but also healthy, a perfect blend of homestyle cooking and culinary expertise. Bidur went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. He helped us arrange local transportation and suggested hidden gems for us to explore, away from the usual tourist spots. His knowledge of the area was invaluable, and we were able to discover some truly breathtaking places. The homestay itself was a haven of peace and tranquility. The views of the mountains and tea gardens from the balcony and terrace were simply stunning. On clear days, we could even see the majestic Kanchenjunga, adding to the magic of our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities provided. The proximity to the market area was convenient, and we could easily avail of local shared taxis to explore the town. Overall, our stay at Family Homestay was nothing short of fantastic. Bidur and Sandhya's hospitality, coupled with the beautiful surroundings and delicious food, made it a truly unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return on our next visit to Darjeeling. This place is a gem. The room is super cute and cosy, and Shukrit is the best host! He will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. He cooked delicious food (I discovered lots of new food here, yum! ), showed me around town, helped me find things I needed for my trek, organized transport and my next accommodation… and we had lots of great chats along the way. Whatever you need, Shukrit is there for you! And there’s a lot of hot water for showering too, which is always nice. Best value for money. Thanks Shukrit!
