I chose Arad for part of my stay intentionally since I love this small city. It is rather quiet, easy to navigate, peaceful. When I saw the pictures of the Gamliel house, I knew I found the best place. The Judean desert view is stunning, the neighborhood is quiet, and all the pieces of art created by Itzik Gamliel, shared so generously with their guests, make the place a fairy tale, like living real a childhood dream. An incredible place to stay! The communication with the hosts before our stay was brilliant – They answered all questions we had prior to arrival and sent information as we needed it. They were incredibly friendly. The room we got had a beautiful view of the mountains and it was quiet and tranquil. It had everything we needed for Shabbat.
