The fact it was so close to everything, clean & large room. Very large & extremely comfortable bed. Great bathroom - large, as was the shower. I think everything was new - seemed it anyway.

Glendine Inn felt like a real authentic Kilkenny stay. From the locals in the pub, to the Hurling championship memorabilia, to the staff and service - everything was excellent! Public transport is available however I chose to walk everywhere as it’s a small city with plenty of beauty to see. Highly recommend this accomodation and Kilkenny!
Cathy is a great hostess and makes you feel like a friend of the family. Staying at her house, walking into Kilkenny and having a pint at Tynans, I felt like a local.
