Bedrooms a little tired but the bar, restaurant and staff more than made up for this. The food was excellent with good variety and quality produce. The staff are exceptional, really friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. A really well run family establishment.

We loved the house, the grounds and the hospitality. I visited with my mum who has limited mobility and Carol-Anne and Richard were endlessly kind and accommodating. They made our stay very easy and comfortable. Clonalis House is a very special place.

Pleasant accommodation which met our requirements. Very clean and comfortable accomodation. Helpful and pleasant host. Recommended the local hotel for a meal. Had the most beautiful fish and asparagus meal.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
We property is spacious and well appointed. New furnishings and so comfortable. The owner Conor went out of his way to accommodate us and was extremely helpful. Lovely bedding and towels.
When we arrived there was a lovely welcome pack in the fridge with the ingredients of a superb Irish breakfast.
We loved the local pub - O’Dowds and the locals were friendly.

Beautiful house, wonderful rooms and lovely host family who were very helpful and accommodating during our visit. Delicious homemade food and a perfect base from which to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside.
