This is a true hidden pearl. The owner Okta welcomes every guest and is more then likely to tell you about his place. You can feel that a lot of time and effort has gone in to this hotel with A LOT of detail. You can witness true Balinese architecture. Lovely room, very new and clean. The pool is a treat. Breakfast and diner is good. Overall it felt more than visiting a relative than being in a hotel. Owner speaks English very well. Suggestion for people who will visit: Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang is only a 10 minute drive. Climbing (or for those who are not really good at climbing you can swim the difficult parts) through a beautiful canyon.

The location is perfect. The room, bathroom and balcony are massive. Very quiet even though is so close to busy area of Ubud.
It was also very clean.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Rooms are amazing and owners are super friendly. The homestay is located a short stroll from Sukawati Art Market and local warung. If you want to escape the tourist bustle, this place is for you.
This is a brand new property that is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Toiletries are supplied and the tv can be connected to the internet. A full kitchen is available for your private use. The hosts are friendly and helpful and I would have loved to have spent longer there. The property is situated amongst rice paddies and is very peaceful. There is a very good art gallery at the homestay.

It's a family place owned by artist Made Kaek, and his signature is visible all around the place. His wife runs the homestay and cooks delicious breakfast (for a very small fee).
The room is beautiful and really clean.
We spent some time with two of them in the afternoon while we were having coffee - talking about his art, travels, and finally, he showed us his gallery. We unfortunately stayed only one night, but it was a very interesting experience as a whole :).

Everything was the way we expected and picture on the website. Nia was a very good host, shown us around and gave an overview of the facilities (including pool). The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect, close to Bird Park and Zoo. There was plenty of food options outside the accommodation (please note no restaurant on site). They also organised a taxi to the airport. Very happy and perfect for travellers.
