We spent 14 happy days here. The apartment was small, but very comfortable and cozy. Katerina (the owner) designed this place in a very tasteful way making the space feeling homey and relaxing. The place was impeccably clean and organized, it was safe and peaceful. The best part was that the location in the REAL Athens neighborhood - no tourists, just real local residents. There are many supermarkets available within walking distance, so you could self-cater if you would like. Even though there was no cooking stove (only microwave), we still enjoyed many meals at home along with several local food options. The kitchennette had an electric tea and cofee pots, a few plates and cups, glasses and variety of teas and instant coffee packets (along with cream and sugar packets) in addition to a couple of complimentary croissants privided by the owner. In the evenings, we also enjoyed a private outdoor roof-top terrace attached go the apartment . The metro station was about 15 minutes walk, and it is about 5 metro stops to the very center of Athens. We highly recommend to purchase a super economicsl 5-day unlimited travel pass and enjoy exploring Athens by metro, buses, and trams.

The location is excellent! it’s a walking distance from nearly everything .a minute away from the Metro and most bar and restaurants.The room was lovely , big and surprisingly quiet(triple glass) .Its next to bars and busy streets and you could hear nearly anything in the room . We felt so welcome! This appartment in a quiet area is lovely and impeccably clean. Nicole and her family are discreet, friendly and very helpful. They have thought of everything their guests could need. There were even fresh flowers on the table! The windows can open and have screens so the appartment is well ventilated, the bedroom is spacious, the double bed is clean and has a good mattress, the living space with comfortable sofa and the bathroom with shower had everything we needed. There is also a workout area. The appartment is 7 minutes by car from the Athens medical centre and it was easy to find a place to park our car near the house.

The most hospitable host ever. My stay exceeded my expectations. The host met me and gave me a lift, without even me asking, when I needed it. That's very kind when it's so hot outside and you're carrying a suitcase. I had all the necessary facilities and essentials. Everything was perfectly clean, which is important to me. Mata is amazing!! we had a great time here. it’s a little way away from the center of Athens, but it’s in a perfect suburban neighborhood. The shared kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. the bathroom and shower is shared but it’s super clean and well taken care of. we loved it here! would stay again!

What a wonderful week's stay at Kolonaki Apartment. The owner, Mr.Dimetra and his "rescue" pup, Amalie, were a joy to be around! Mr. D. was very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and its attractions; the location could not be more perfect!!! A great super market is at the end of the small residential street. You can walk to Syntagma Square in 10 minutes!!! From there you can walk to Monasteraki in 10-15 minutes and "shop til you drop" with great souvenir bargains! The Acropolis is within sight of Monasteraki and walk-able. The apartment is located near Syntagma Square, on a small residential street, surrounded by embassies, the closest being the French embassy. A great super market is just at the end of the small residential street. The apartment is very quite at night considering the proximity to Syntagma. You have a private bedroom, a large bath, access to kitchen, fridge, oven, dining room, living room, and balconies. The apartment is very spacious and reminiscent of a bygone era of luxurious city apartments that were the residences of the Athens's elite and affluent citizens. You share the spacious apartment with Mr. D, but he is never intrusive. He is gone during the day, working at his job and walking Amalie. Amalie is a most gracious and well-mannered host, more than happy to spend as much time with you as you want. There is a nearby wonderful museum, the Benaki, within 5 minutes from the apartment. It has great Greek artifacts, Greek traditional fashions, and currently an exhibit by the artist, John Craxton. Mr. D also recommended a wonderful restaurant nearby and it served one of the best meals of the Athens visit!!! Ten minute walk from the apartment. Tzitzikaskio Mermigas. Mr. D will answer any question you might have and make helpful suggestions. He will arrange for a taxi at the front door to see you on your way.
