My favourite part was the beautiful garden full of lovely trees, plants and birdsong as well as the pool which was a great way to cool off. I also loved my room which was spacious, very comfortable and came with fridge, en suite shower and A/C. The hotel staff were fantastic, always ready to help, friendly and relaxed and at the same time very professional with plenty of tips on local places to visit. Great food too, such as butter fish and spicy chicken and recommend the delicious Gambian juice called Wonjo. I had a wonderful week at Hibiscus House - very much hope to go back some time.

The room, staff, and facilities were great. The pool was awesome and the room was massive and well worth the money. The wifi connection was also pretty good.

Nice room, it is more like a room inside of a private family house, than like a guest house.

We enjoyed being so close to the airport as we picked up two sets of visitors in one night. Really cool to also be so near to the river and nature. Finally, Modou was a great host and good to interact with.

I loved the peaceful environment, the gras, flowers and birds. The host is very lovely and treats you like family. I also enjoyed the fresh wind that comes through your window at night time I havent experienced quiet and cool nights like this in any other accomodations in Gambia. Also very nice that everything is solar powered, the regular national powercuts dont affect you at all. I recommend this!

The shared bathroom is clean and functional. A reasonable option when it comes to an overnight stay not too far from the long distance buses leaving from the GTSC Terminal or Westfield Junction.

The apartment was absolutely lovely! and perfect for me and my son🥰 it was like a dream waking up every day, surrounded by the beautiful greenery in the garden, and the lovely dog. Mount pleasant is a place I would recommend full heartedly. It’s supposed all my expectations. The owner of the place was always available to get in contact with. And two workers available for any kind of things that we needed help with. The locals are lovely and always ready for a little chat and laughter.
Thank you for this time. I’ll see you guys in two years.
The hotel manager made our stay so wonderful. She helped us when our flight was first delayed and then cancelled. She really cared for her guests and made the place feel more like a homestay than a hotel.
House has everything needed and quite clean for Western Africa's standards. It is on a kind of residential neighborhood but surrounded by locals. Might be a bit far from the beach, restaurants, etc... but Kemo is always willing to help. He is an excellent host and great guy, thanks Kemo!!
