A really nice place to stay, I was welcomed in a friendly but professional way…. Even thou I arrived just before midnight. Wish I had more days to stay. Also it’s not that far out from Bristol, well worth the 15 minutes drive. Highly recommended this place, if you can book the master bedroom overlooking the fields.

Well located in Radstock , very friendly owners and staff . I had a single room never one of my favourites as I don’t like single beds . Bathroom was small but it did have a large shower which makes for a more comfortable shower . I stayed on a night they had Kareoke , really good vibe about the place friendly locals . Overall you won’t be disappointed … Plenty of parking

What a gem ,it was like staying at your Aunties . Nothing was too much trouble for Stephanie. Real old fashioned super customer interface, we loved it. So handy for the Showground, which is why we were there. Well cooked food at very reasonable prices, well used by locals, a good sign. Often travelling to Cornwall this will be our halfway house from now on. For me there was the extra delight of John the Farmer and his amazing cattle right behind the pub

Breakfast was excellent. Although we did not have the full English, the specification looked formidable! Our host was welcoming and attentive throughout - a natural host. Very comfortable room with little extras such as mini bottles of port. We spent enjoyable times in the bar chatting to the locals, who were very friendly and interested in us.

Cheap price. The staff were very friendly and so were the locals. The pub did not do food in the evening but the landlady said if we wanted to purchase fish/chips, chinese or an indian from over the road, we could eat it in the bar and she would provide plates, cutlery and wash up for us, which we did. The pub had a pool table and I noticed they had a great 'kids corner' with toys and things. It would be great for families travelling on a budget, it is very child friendly.
