One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in, the hosts were so welcoming & helpful, the room was perfect, bed was very comfortable, and excellent facilities. Couldn’t recommend more. Also the area is lovely, felt very safe and very convenient for the short bus into town. Will definitely be coming back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Charlotte's property, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the impeccable cleanliness of the space. It was clear that Charlotte takes great pride in maintaining a spotless environment, as everything was not only tidy but also well-organized and thoughtfully arranged. The fresh linens and sparkling surfaces made me feel right at home.
One of the standout aspects of my stay was Charlotte's flexibility with check-out times. She graciously allowed me a late check-out, which made my travel plans so much easier. It’s rare to find a host who is so accommodating and understanding, and it truly made a difference in my overall experience.
Charlotte's attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness, and willingness to go the extra mile for her guests are commendable. I highly recommend her as a host, and I look forward to staying at her property again in the future!

Anne was the perfect host. Halekulani was a beautiful house set in perfect gardens. I stayed in the Dartmoor super king Mountain View room which was lovely and quiet and luxurious. Breakfast was the best, freshly cooked by Anne. Poached eggs cooked to perfection. I will definitely return.

We enjoyed everything about this stay, hosted by lovely Kate. A cosy cottage addition to the main house, with window door opening on to a country lane (short walk to pub). Excellent bathroom, tea coffee facilities. The breakfast the next morning was fabulous. Delivered by Kate, in a cute wicker basket laden with goodies. Croissants, home made jams, cereals, yogurts, fresh orange juice. Would definitely stay again.

Great hosts and nice to be able to get good coffee at any time. Very clean room. Only suggestion is that my room, single on top floor, needs a little updating as walls were peeling a bit. Also the tea mug had not been cleaned from previous clients. Otherwise it was great and location was perfect.
Simple and efficient check-in. A basic but clean room with a very comfy bed and clean shower/toilet. Tea and coffee making facilities.
Friendly pub - not always the locals are happy to chat! Good pub food and excellent beer. A bit out of the way but prominent in village. Decent car park.
