I was turned away due to reasons beyond my control
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Brilliant bolt hole for a trip to the Isle of Wight. Great host. Handy self-catering facilities with microwave, kettle and crockery in the room. Very comfortable bed.
Everything was wonderful. Lovely host. Friendly, lovely room and atmosphere. Warm and welcoming. Loved it, clean, tidy, facilities the lot. Close to everything you may need and many attractions to visit. The local knowledge and suggestions made by Gigi were perfect. Will definately go back again... And again. 10 minutes walk from East Cowes Ferry Terminal, Ferry to West Cowes and Bus Stop. The Lifeboat pub nearby was nice. Also walkable to Osborne House 20-30 mins. As described, a simple home stay, with a friendly host.
