Reason
I attempted to find accommodation whilst I was in Sheffield, UK.
So got online and managed to get a booking at the above hotel.
When I got to the hotel, we were told that unless we paid cash, accommodation would not be granted.
Despite assuring we had paid through Bookings.com. (Reference 4461975471) they insisted we pay cash.
Being late, we decided to find another hotel to stay in, which we did.
Would appreciate if reversal of funds can be made.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
A real home from home - Mel was a lovely host and her home was very comfortable with more amenities than you often find in a hotel. Breakfast was fabulous with a selection of items to suit all guests - and the lovely treats provided in the bedroom were an added bonus. Location was also perfect for the purposes of my visit to Sheffield. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay at The White House for anyone wishing to visit Sheffield.
Fabulous !!! lovely clean comfortable room, very homely (the little sweet treats in the room are a nice touch)... Mel is a great host who goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible, I've stayed in quite a few Rooms recently in the area for work reasons and The White House for me is just the Best... will be back
