Breakfast was quite simply amazing ... Fabulous choice and friendly servers.
Room extras were fab too, was not expecting so many nibbles.
Shampoo/conditioner smelled amazing, I wish I'd taken note of brand.
Parking was good, we were literally 10 steps to door.
I met people who use this hotel often when visiting family at local University and I can imagine myself being one of them now.
Local bus service is available at end of street, although we didn't use.
Local taxi service was friendly and knew where to go instantly.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
A large, comfortable sitting area for guests. In addition to a well-appointed bedroom. Lovely host provides a warm welcome and chats. Close to many things to see and do. And a great breakfast. Absolutely the best B and B.
Great location, room was brilliant, large, clean, great outlook. Lisa was a lovely host with suggestions for where to eat, etc. Lots to see in the area.
There were five friends staying at the property. We all agreed that the property was very well maintained and we loved the nautical theme throughout the house! The house was exceptionally clean. The shower was fantastic. It was ideal for our stay. We were extremely cosy with the fire in the lounge when it was very wet and cold outside. The views are STUNNING! The locals were very friendly and helpful. It was big enough for us all to have a bit of room to ourselves.
Location is absolutely stunning. Dining room staff were excellent. Pool and gym were fine, gym well equipped. Both were clean. Pool was surprisingly busy first thing (I think with locals). Room was lovely, fantastic views of the golf course.
Great place for golf trips, 2 minutes from Carnoustie Golf Course and 40 minutes by car from St Andrews, really easy in and out. Great bar, full of friendly locals and golfers.
