Location was excellent. Just 3 to 4 minutes walk to the bowness pier where the ferries operate. Breakfast was amazing, Dave and Deborah change it to the vegetarian option as per our request. One of the best Hash Browns I have eaten in UK (just my opinion). Room is clean and you can make tea and coffee and they clean the room everyday. We got the room on the ground floor, the views would have been amazing on the upper floor. But still, we can see the views of the Windermere Lake. When we reach at the train station, we did not get the taxi easily. So Dave drove us to the guest house. There is a bus Number 599 goes to the St Martins Church bus stop which is 3 minutes walking distance to the guest house. As we did not know this earlier. Dave and Deborah go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect at the New Hall Bank. If I ever visit to Windermere again, I will definitely try to get a room from New Hall Bank.

A Stellar B&B. Wow. Oakfold House is a premier choice for staying in The Lake District. The hosts are very kind and generous, while constantly working to maintain their very high standard. There is nothing to fault here, we had a thoroughly enjoyable time during our 4 day stay at Oakfold House. The rooms are very nice and well kept, and for the breakfast the hosts absolutely crushed it, every time. Every single meal we had at Oakfold was incredible. Everything was consistently perfect (literally). Highly highly recommend Oakfold House, and many thanks for making us so welcomed during our wonderful stay with you.
