The staff are lovely and the restaurant was fabulous. We had a great meal one evening and would have eaten there again but it was closed the next night. Breakfast is a typical German one, of cold meats, cheeses, breads and so on which we really enjoyed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with nice bathrooms. There are 3 spots of designated guest parking. The owner has a small shop where they sell their own wine and other products. Again, I thought the quality was excellent.
Treis-Karden is a great alternative to Cochem, which I found a bit plastic & touristy and a great location for exploring the Mosel Vallay.
