The whole complex is perfectly designed and definitely in a very good style. The apartment was very comfortable with all the equipment needed (will not get into details but it was really like entering own house). The surrounding is marvellous, it's a place where you can really relax. This is a lovely, peaceful property in the heart of old Pirna. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast included. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by.
Bus and train stations 15 minutes walk away, which make access to Saxony Switzerland and Dresden so easy. Both of them are about 20 minutes by train.
Old Pirna is lovely and Pension Donatus was the perfect choice for sightseeing in the area.
By the way, the car park at the Pension (£10 a night) is so cool. You drive the car into the garage, take all your luggage out, and it disappears to a car park underground 😄

Absolutely wonderful room, with lovely hosts and an ideal location. The room was equipped with everything that I needed (fridge, coffee maker, water boiler). The hosts were attentive and warm and gave me great tips on where to explore. The room was perfectly sized for solo travel, and located close to the town center Koenigstein, as well as the train station and ferry. I recommend staying at this cozy and quiet location for those travelling solo or with a partner.
