Management, staff (including chefs), and locals made me feel I was a regular.
The hotel had a country pub vibe, and I extended my stay.
Love the location, too, as it was within walking distance to everything I required.

Building is an old catholic convent primary school, boarding house, private residence etc. Lots of history to the building, therefore not your typical motel.
Interesting building and grounds to explore.

Elaine was a lovely host and prepared a delicious breakfast each morning catering for special diets.
The house is on a tranquil property surrounded by lovely gardens. We would certainly stay again.
Excellent breakfast including delicious rhubarb compote, the best home made marmalade (didn’tthink to enquire about buying some to take with us) served in a charming dining room which looked out through ornamental grape vine. Tea served in silver teapot appreciated by this tea drinker!
